Integration Engineer/
Software Developer
in Bucharest, Romania
We are looking for a mid-level Java developer (full-stack engineer) who excels at creating an exceptional user experience to join us. Based in Bucharest you will be joining a boutique consulting firm focused on providing SWIFT related products and services to financial institutions.
Our customers are mainly based in North and Sub-Saharan Africa – knowledge of French and willingness to travel are therefore required. If you have what it takes, join us and grab the opportunity to develop you skills and knowledge in a niche market.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities will be to contribute to the delivery and support of Integration projects for our customers.
Starting with mainly contributing to the development and testing phases of integration projects under the guidance of more senior team members you will gradually acquire more expertise in financial messaging and more experience to take on more responsibilities in the delivery of integration projects. These projects are delivered end-to-end by the development team and thus include all activities related to software projects: Functional Analysis, Technical Design, Technical Implementation, Testing and Quality Assurance, Go-live support, Troubleshooting and Project Management.
Qualifications:
Education
-
University degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
Experience
-
Mid-level full-stack engineer (2-4 years development experience)
-
Expertise with Java 8 Programming language and frameworks (e.g. Spring, JEE).

Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Ember).
-
Experience in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB, Elastic) including data modelling.

Experience in Apache Camel
-
Knowledge of Linux, AIX and Windows OS.

Knowledge of large-scale distributed infrastructure (e.g. Spark, Kafka).
-
Knowledge of continuous delivery process and technologies (e.g. Docker, Jenkins, Ansible).

Knowledge of UML and XML

Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals

Knowledge of Service Oriented Architectures, application server and Web Services

Knowledge of SWIFT software and standards is a strong asset

Based in Bucharest you will be joining a boutique software provider focused on offering SWIFT related products and services to financial institutions.
On top of our existing African customer base, you will be responsible for the expansion of our activities in Romania and other Eastern European countries.

Responsibilities:
Your responsibility will be to identify customer needs and achieve business growth by building and maintaining long term customer relationships. We will develop together plans for initiatives in order to achieve targeted sales objective and an optimal and cost-beneficial way. You will also coordinate and track all the activities with our clients, acting as a single point of contact for customers.
You will also represent Finlence and promote our products and services in order to grow our business by participating to international events, forums and meetings.
You will liaise with the team in order to provide coordinated service and integrated solution to assigned customers.
Qualifications:
Education

Experience

Ideally 1 year prior sales experience in the banking, software or IT industry

Responsibilities:
Respond to and investigate customer/end-user inquiries, concerns, and issues via logged phone calls, mail, and e-mail in a timely and courteous manner.
Escalating issues as needed and maintaining communication with the customer and internal team.
Assuring SLA’s are being met through support groups.
Organize and maintains file system; files correspondence and other records.
